MILWAUKEE, WI — Police arrested a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl in connection with abducting a 3-month-old boy, the Milwaukee Police Department announced Thursday.
Anthony Crudup Jr. was reported missing around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday and was found safe at the 4000 block of N. 44th Street in Milwaukee around 1:45 p.m., police said. Police haven't named the girls that took him.
Police arrested a 19-year-old man, a 33-year-old man and a 56-year-old man on Thursday for unrelated charges, police said. All three men are from Milwaukee.
Crudup's mother told police she had a group of people over at her house when she fell asleep, police said. When she woke up, she noticed the group was gone and her baby was missing.
Police issued an Amber Alert Wednesday morning to help find the baby. Milwaukee police thanked the community and its partners with help finding Crudup.
