Description
Hello! I am a foster mom for Gwyneth, a rescue dog, and looking for her forever home.
Gwyneth was shy and fearful at the beginning of fostering but after two months, she's a lot more affectionate and confident. Every morning, when she wakes up, she wags her tail and licks my hand or face, follows me around at the dog parks, and obeys basic commands like "touch" and "sit". She's quite goofy and silly but also smart and curious at the same time. She's playful, likes to play with toys, and loves to play chase. She is food-driven so has some potential for further training. She is still scared of any strangers or new things at first but always responds well with repetition. She's good with dogs, has no experience with cats, is good in the crate, is housebroken, and good on leash.
Name: Gwyneth
2 years old female Jindo mix (spayed)
40 lbs
Up to date on shots
Location: Seattle, WA
We are looking for her forever family who has experience with shy rescue dogs so that they understand the joy of witnessing their dog's progress (she gave me this joy so much in the past two months). The ideal family for Gwyneth would be one who understands the responsibilities of raising a dog and can commit to helping her gain complete confidence. We hope the family has a fenced yard and another dog with a good personality at home because she likes to play with other dogs so much.
