LONG BEACH, NY — With the resignation of Melissa Miller from the Assembly, a special election is scheduled for Thurs., April 7. Early voting is available from Mon., March 28-Tues., April 5. The three early voting locations are: Long Beach City HallLawrence Country Club Nassau County Board of Elections in Mineola Any eligible voter who lives within the 20th Assembly District may participate in the special election. Hours for early voting: March 28: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 29: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 30: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 31: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.April 1: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 2: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 3: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 4: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 5: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. On the April 7 election day, voters should go to their usual polling place.
