To the inquisitive, smiling redhead on Lundeen/Hwy 9

Meets

Lundeen Parkway near Hwy 9, Everett WA

Description

I don't know what about me or my vehicle caught your eye, but whatever it was, I'm glad it brought you into my world for even those brief couple moments. When I pulled up past you in the other left turn lane on Lundeen and you were already peering into my truck, I was awestruck by that gorgeous face that seemed to be searching for something or curious. I wish I wouldn't have pulled forward so far so that I could've rolled down my window and said hi while we were waiting for the light. When your lane caught up to me and you passed me, I peered over and you were, once again, looking my way and I couldn't help but smile. I passed you once more as we made the turn and again we caught eyes, so I slowed down to try to let you catch up. You did. I waved, you waved and that smile just lit up your face. I made sure I had plenty of distance between myself and the vehicle in front of me so that I could catch more than a few glances at you. Unfortunately for me, you turned off the highway onto Vernon, while my path was taking me further down the highway. But I had to take one last look before you were out of view and I was excited to see you looking back as well before you rounded that curve. The combination of that thick, red hair, your glasses, that friendly energy you were giving off and that lovely smile, I was so close to just diverting course from where I needed to be to try to catch you again. You were in what I think was a late 90's or early 00's Prelude or similar sedan (I could be wrong on the style as I was WAY more focused on you) of the navy/royal blue variety. I was in the green Explorer with a bunch of decals. After I reached my destination and was done, I made a last ditch effort to come back up to the village in and around BK, IHOP and Walgreens to see if I could at least spot your car, but no luck. Hoping to find you here. If this is you, tell me what colour I was wearing, what facial hair I have and/or one of those decals to let me know it's you. Hopefully, Your (not-so-) secret admirer.
