MILFORD, CT — Two Milford residents were among 53 recent Connecticut State Police graduates. The 131st Training Troop started the academy in September and completed 1,400 hours of training. Newly-minted troopers Sergio Campbell and Kelly Hunt were assigned to Troop I in Bethany. The class consisted of 38 men and 15 women, and more than half of the class holds a bachelor's degree or higher; 15 have military experience and 11 have prior law enforcement experience. The academy class started remotely in September due to the pandemic, but switched to in-person on Oct. 10.
