Press release from the Village of Oak Brook: The Oak Brook Police Department wishes to remind our residents to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood. Residential burglaries are sometimes preceded by unidentified persons ringing doorbells or knocking on doors in the immediate area. The Police Department urges residents to immediately dial 9-1-1 if a suspicious person or vehicle is observed. Never leave your home unsecured, and if it can be done safely, record license plate or physical descriptions when in question.
