Press release from College of Lake County: COVID-19 SHIELD testing The saliva-based COVID-19 test is a non-invasive test simply requiring an individual to deposit a saliva sample into a provided vial. Results are returned to individuals within 24 hours. This walk-in testing is free and open to the public, regardless of symptoms. You do not need to be a CLC student, faculty or staff member to be tested. Before you arrive, you must register for an account.
