SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The discovery of two bodies Tuesday afternoon in South San Francisco is being investigated as a homicide-suicide, police said. The bodies of an adult male and an adult female were found at an apartment in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue at around 3 p.m. according to police. Police responded to the location after family members reportedly received a text message from a relative indicating a homicide may have occurred at the location, police said. Police said the deaths were the result of a homicide-suicide. The male was a tenant of the apartment and the female an acquaintance of his according to police. The investigation of this case is ongoing according to police. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call South San Francisco police detectives at (650) 877-8900.
