Lead Singer Needed!

Prospect Park PA
Description
We're an original rock band, in our late 40s. We get together once or twice a month to perform our original material, and the occasional cover song. This is not a touring band. It's more of a home recording/performing project for people who love to play, and don't miss lugging equipment around to local bars. It's like Darryl Hall's Garage! Influences include The Who, Radiohead, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Kinks, Cream, The Doors, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains. You get the picture... and you can hear samples of our original material below. My home studio is fully equipped with a PA System, 24 channel mixer, 8 track reel to reel, Logic Pro DAW, and tons of fancy mics. Our focus is on having fun, creating great music, and making great recordings. -We have a lead guitarist who writes most of our material. He sings background and lead. -We have a bass player who does not feel like singing, but can. -We have a drummer who handles the recording, reluctantly sings harmonies and pays the mortgage on the rehearsal space. We need to find a powerful, creative singer who can uplift our songs. IMPORTANT: Our candidate must be able to either play keyboard or rhythm guitar while singing. We're flexible on the vocal approach, but we are looking for a male singer. Our sessions are a lot of fun, but we can't handle flakiness! Punctuality and professionalism are what you'll get from us. We're not a jam band. We have a structure for every session. We show up on time, and we practice our parts on our own time so we can let it rip when we're all together. We have a lot of material. Most of it is available online. We can provide tablature and lyrics for every song. https://soundcloud.com/whitmania/stitch-ripper https://soundcloud.com/the-323-group/no-recollection https://soundcloud.com/the-323-group/mess https://soundcloud.com/the-323-group/cut-into-it https://soundcloud.com/the-323-group/on-a-ledge If it sounds like the right kind of music and the right opportunity, please give a call. We're all easy going, and great fiends, but serious about making the best music we can. Justice
