WARREN, MI — A man was shot to death Wednesday afternoon at a Warren gas station, police said. Officials said the 46-year-old man was fatally shot in the head in the parking lot of a Marathon gas station on Ryan and Jarvis roads, between 8 and 9 Mile roads at 2:55 p.m. Officials said there was a confrontation inside the victim's car between the victim and someone from the shooter's vehicle, which pulled into the parking lot shortly before the shooting. After a dispute in the car, the shooter's vehicle approached the victim and the driver fatally shot him, police said. Officials don't believe the shooting was a random act, but rather a robbery, possible bad drug deal or a targeted execution. Warren Police said they were developing information about the shooter, as they continue to investigate the shooting.
