Basic Job Function: Responsible for assisting the pump installer or field superintendent with all tasks required. For Ex. assembly, disassembly and installation of water well pumps. Special Tasks: Assist in welding/cutting Assist with pulling, setting and assembling pumps as req. Assist with maintenance of equipment Assist with chemical treatment and cleaning of wells Drive support vehicles Understand, select and work with all hand tools Keep equipment and location clean Follow all safety regulations Assist in the safe operation of equipment Specific Skills and Qualifications: Excellent health and meet all physical requirements Willing to travel and stay overnight Must be able to dead lift 80-100 lbs overhead throughout daily shift Must have valid drivers license with no recent traffic violations, CDL bonus but not required. Able to follow instructions Must have dependable transportation and phone Must enjoy working outside all year in all weather Must have good customer relations Must be mechanically inclined Must be punctual and dependable Must be able to work as a team Should have basic Math skills Willing to train the right person.
