IEc is seeking to hire an energetic, detail-oriented team member as a full time Contracts Analyst to support an economics and environmental consulting firm in its Pricing and Procurement group. As an entry level Contracts Analyst, you will learn how a well-established consulting firm operates from the ground floor. Our team utilizes their skill sets to develop price proposals, document and obtain quotes for subcontracting efforts and review pricing compliance for ongoing projects. This entry level position is a great fit for the candidate with a professional attitude and strong work ethic. Attention to detail, as well as the ability to concentrate and carry out tasks accurately while under time constraints are necessary skills. Applicants should be able to work individually as well as within a team and should feel comfortable communicating across multiple levels of the business hierarchy. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication, proofreading and organization skills. Proficiency in Microsoft’s Windows 365 Office environment is an asset. Duties: • Working closely with senior staff to develop price proposal materials; • Communicating clearly with subcontractors to gather information necessary for proposals and preparing subcontract agreements; • Conducting market research and soliciting proposals for supplies and services; • Ensuring proper documentation of business development and procurement efforts; • Analyzing data; • Maintaining and updating internal tracking systems and filing documents. Experience in the following areas is helpful, but not required: • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR); • Familiarity with various contract types (Firm-Fixed-Price, Time & Materials, and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity).
