Where did our time go?

I fell into bed tonight at my lowest and loneliest point in a long time. I thought about a lot of our great plans, and the excitement we felt. That thrill is long since gone. I've been able to process the change pretty well, but love is love. Different now, but still alive. I knew, after we parted, that a space between us was going to naturally occur. I'm still struggling with the new paradigm here and there, and the rain isn't helping my attitude much either. But there's nothing to be fixed or rearranged, just accepted. Here's hoping that comes sooner than later.
