Diesel Mechanic NV Diesel Service is a well-recognized and rapidly growing heavy truck and trailer repair company located in Troutdale, Oregon. NV Diesel Service is a family owned and operated company providing over 8 years of exceptional service to its loyal customers. We are currently seeking entry level diesel mechanics, lead mechanics and shop foremen. Duties and responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned) • Ability to identify parts and components of diesel truck engines, transmissions, and braking mechanisms. Must have proven ability to disassemble, work on, and reassemble diesel truck and trailer components. Must have the ability to identify mechanical and electronic problems, make repairs, and offer a proper maintenance strategy • Must be ASE certified • Must have own hand tools, and be proficient in their use • Must have basic computer skills • Must have strong and clean communication skills • 1-2 years of automotive or diesel experience preferred • Be a motivated individual and a team player • Have reliable transportation • Be capable to maintain regular & punctual attendance • Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, position is subject to random drug and alcohol testing • Bilingual is a plus Benefits • Competitive hourly pay based on experience (Top Performing Mechanics earn $55,000+ a year) • Health and Dental insurance • Paid time off and Sick time Location 2021 NW Sundial Rd.
