We are looking for youth ages 6-21 who are interested in auditioning for a Youth band. We welcome all musicians, singers, dancers, poets and rappers. Auditions will be held April 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th at the Renaissance Youth Center. Email us for more info. The Music With A Message Band is a group of 25 performers, ages 6-21, who travel across New York City, performing uplifting music for thousands of people each year. Since 2009, we have performed at venues like Yankee Stadium, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Apollo, the New School, NYC Summer Stage, and more. We build band members into talented performers who sing, play an instrument, dance, and write original songs. Band members also learn to become community advocates, public speakers, and community role models.
