HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — The results of the 2019 Hasbrouck Heights municipal elections are in. Incumbent Mayor John DeLorenzo III, a Republican, ran against incumbent Democratic Councilman Christopher Hillmann in the mayor's race. The results were: DeLorenzo: 1,777Hillmann: 1,337 Republicans Josephine Ciocia and Ronald Kistner ran against Democrats Helayne Weiss and Rudy Baez for two seats on the Borough Council. Those results were: Ciocia: 1,735Kistner: 1,694Weiss: 1,292Baez: 1,227 Five people ran for three, three-year terms on the Board of Education: Robert Faussette, Lori Cintron, Lisa Krommenhoek, Michelle Maccaquano, and Patricia Caruso. The results were: Faussette: 1,007Cintron: 1,116Krommenhoek: 834Maccaquano: 496Caruso: 852 Joseph Rinke ran unopposed for an unexpired two-year term on the board of education.
