Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the warehouse by performing the following duties Job Duties: include those listed below as well as all others as assigned Shipping Functions Ships products daily using Fedex, USPS, UPS World-ship, Ship-Rush and other means requested by customers Ensures highest quality of professional customer service and satisfaction Warehouse Functions Provides expedient professional responses to internal inquiries via phone, fax, and e-mail Maintains warehouse cleanliness and advises Manager of any needed repairs Ensures safety in all aspects of job assignments and uses safety equipment where applicable Ensures confidentiality in company information including use of information systems Promotes team building efforts to facilitate a respectful teamwork environment Knowledge and Skills Required: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively and 90lbs team lift Ability to stand and sit for long periods; often on concrete Ability to perform repetitive tasks Attention to detail and legible handwriting Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to work on a team Preferred Educational and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience
