Far north Dallas/Plano area. Potty trained 4 yr old female German Shephard to be re-homed. Rescue groups are welcome. Suki is a spayed female with all her shots. She is approx. 85 lbs (BIG Girl!!!) and healthy! Suki needs a fenced in yard and needs another big dog or dogs to play with but she will not get along with small dogs because she plays WAY too rough. No cats either. Please see all the pics of this amazing dog! Suki loves to go on walks. Suki loves to run/jog next to you on a leash but she is still out of shape. Suki's favorite thing to do is chasing balls (can be possessive) and going for walks. Suki is a rescue from the Dallas Animal Shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized so we rescued her about 2 weeks ago. However, she is way too rough for our small dogs. She knows some commands such as sit and lay down and is potty trained. She is young enough/smart enough to retrain if needed. Suki is potty trained and since we don't have a dog door we put jingle bells on the door knob and she will ring them when she wants to go outside. I only had to show her once and she learned it! Suki goes in her kennel (and given a dental treat, greenie) every night from approximately 9pm until 7:30am. She sometimes cries a little in the kennel but German Shepherds are known to be babies. She gets let out with the other dogs at 7:30 to go potty outside and then a treat afterwards. It would be ideal if Suki had a doggy door. Suki catches treats in her mouth and knows what "back up" means. Now the not so good but you need to know and make sure these are NOT deal breakers: * Suki is clumsy and still tries to jump up (but learning) so not so good with small children or small pets as she will run/knock them down. * Suki will take over your couch and beg for your food * Suki loves to chew things so we keep big bones and bully sticks and rope toys around and may need to be redirected. * Suki will cry/whimper when you leave the room if she can't follow you when she wants to follow you. We have gates up to stop her from coming inside the bedrooms. Suki comes with a X-large kennel and pad with a tan kennel cover, a no pull harness and a red collar, large leash with potty bag holder, shot records (due next January). These things will come with a small rehoming fee and we recommend introducing the dogs to be sure the home is a great fit for this wonderful dog!
