Need Help With Studio One DAW

So, I bought a Presonus Studio 24C interface and Studio One 5 Artist DAW. I'm completely new to this software and am struggling with setting it up to record. I'm able to play back through my interface, but the DAW doesn't recognize anything I'm trying to record. In any event, it's almost certainly user error. Is there anyone with experience with this software that would be willing to show me how to set this up on my Mac? I'm willing to come to you. Appreciate any help I can get. The online videos have me lost. Thanks!
