He wanted NATO countries to pay their fair share. Ukraine wants democracy and wanted to be a NATO country. NATO refuses to put boots on the ground in support because Ukraine had never paid for their service of protection. Plain and simple. Did anyone see any NATO tanks or armed divisions in Ukraine. Nope not a one.
