We are looking for Packaging Operators to join on client's team in the Lafayette area! This position will be primarily responsible for packing all the products and ensuring their quality. Hours: Tuesday-Friday 5:00am-3:30pm; occasional Mondays if needed Pay: $18.00/hr Responsibilities of Packaging Operator: Checking in material for bottling runs using bottling pull sheet. Reconciling bottling runs using bottling pull sheet. Setting up and operating the following equipment: bottle unscrambler, desiccant inserter, slat counter machine, and cotton inserter. Setting up and operating the metal detector, capper, and heat induction sealer. Setting up and operating the labeler, neck banding machine, and check weigher. Perform all in-process quality control checks during packaging runs. Requirements of Packaging Operator: Operator, production, and manufacturing experience a huge plus! Maintain good attendance. Ability to effectively communicate (speak, write and understand) in English with the department and company as needed. Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time. Must be able to recognize audible hazards.
