Nyle Maxwell of Castroville is looking for a full time, highly motivated individual to be a part of our Service team. This person must be a great communicator, have a positive attitude and quickly build rapport with prospective customers. Essential duties include but are not limited to: · Advise customers about necessary service for routine maintenance. · Handle customer complaints. · Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information using an i-pad. · Maintain high customer satisfaction standards. · Handle telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process. · Maintain a professional appearance and keeps work area clean. · Help identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer or doing a visual inspection or road test. · Confer with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work order for needed repairs. · Prepare repair orders showing time, cost and labor estimates for service. · Write brief descriptions of the customer's concerns on repair orders to help technicians identify the problem. · Refer to service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend additional needed service. · Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications. · Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts. · Explain work performed and repair order charges to the customer, establish customer's method of payment and obtain customer's signature on repair order. · Check on progress of repair throughout the day. Contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explain cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed. · Review repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work and authorization is noted and close repair orders as appropriate. · Inspect all vehicles for body damage. Qualifications: · Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. · Professional appearance and demeanor at all times · Punctuality in reporting to work · Comfortable being on your feet all day · Driven in sales AND customer satisfaction · Communication skills in person, in writing, and over the telephone (ability to assist the customer in expressing all service needs and writing down those needs in a way that is acceptable to the customer and understandable to the Technicians) APPLY ONLINE TODAY!
