It amazes me how many people come on here posting dogs for sale and calling them "Designer breed." There is no such thing as a designer breed, it's a mutt! $2500 for a doodle or anything mixed with standard poodle is ridiculous. You can get a full blooded poodle with papers for less and it won't shed or have behavior issues that doodles have. This goes for Maltipoo and any other dog being cross bred... Doberman/Poodle... What is that?
Before you go and spend your hard earned money on these dogs be aware of possible health/behavior issues that come with mixing up breeds. Craigslist has turned into a breeding spot instead of a place for people to take in or re-home animals that other people don't want or can't take care of. There are lots of pets needing homes and loving families, please don't let a name fool you into thinking that you have something special because it sounds pretty and costs more.
