From the City of Evansville: November 3, 2020 This is the final preliminary vote total for today. Tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m., the approximately 40,000 early vote paper ballots will be processed by 50 Election Office workers for counting. These 50 Election Office workers worked from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. today to open and process the approximately 15,000 absentee ballots that have already been voted and counted. We thank these Election Office workers and the vote center workers for their service during this election with an all-time high voter turnout. Update for the 2020 General Election Results In August of 2020, Vanderburgh County acquired new election equipment which produces a Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail.
