Home Base Inc. is looking for two live-in Caregivers! Two separate positions available, involving part-time direct-care shifts, asleep overnights, and include free housing in downtown Burlington. Potential to add on additional hours with some of our other wonderful clients if interested! Paid training. Resume, references, and full background checks required. Looking for mindfulness, good communication skills, sense of humor, patience, and cleanliness. 1) Help support an enjoyable and engaging elderly gentleman with developmental disabilities who uses a wheelchair. Join two conscientious, caring, and clean housemates who also support him in his 4-bedroom home. Looking for solid team/interpersonal communication skills, sense of humor, patience, cleanliness. Cover 2 & 1/3 overnights/wk plus regularly-scheduled part-time awake hours (typically 15-25 hrs/wk). Back yard, garden space, short walk to downtown Burlington and the waterfront. 2) Help support an engaging, relatively independent gentleman with a developmental disability. He enjoys having an active social life and helping out around the 2- bedroom apartment located close to Church St. Free rent, tax-free stipend, full paid training and ongoing support. Support primarily involves mornings, evenings, and fun activities interspersed throughout the weekends.
