Black Mouth Kur/Mastiff mix needs new home

Roxanne is a 2 year old Black Mouth Kur/Mastiff mix dog. She is extremely intelligent - she was housebroken within days of coming to our home, she taps bells on the door when she needs to go outside, knows sit/stay/leave it and could easily pick anything up. She isn't a cuddly dog, she'll come up and get attention when she wants it but she likes her personal space. She's more of a cat dog. Crate-trained and polite, not remotely food aggressive or any bad habits like that. She does pull a little on a leash when walking but that's because I've not worked with her enough - she would adapt quickly to training. She prefers men over women. She likes cats but can play a little too rough with them at times, she knows "Leave it" not to chase my cats. She gets along with other friendly female dogs but she doesn't seem to like male dogs much at all. Her one bad habit is she is grumpy when in her space - she will growl and huff about being removed from a bed/couch/ect. We use treats to get her down but my kids are not great at remembering that and will push at her and I don't want them getting hurt or her getting a bad rep. She's never bitten but she needs to be in a home with older kids that understand her limits. As many times as I've told my 11 year old not to try to push or shove her, he constantly forgets and will get in her space. She also absolutely hates my male dog, who is much older, and I have no idea why. But she does great with my other two female dogs. She would love to go to a house with another active female dog to play with. She'd be an excellent running/hiking dog and great for a couple or a single man. She's a sweet, good dog that has 0 behavior issues other than her dislike of male dogs and being physically moved when she's resting. Tiny rehoming fee, I'm just concerned about her going to a good home. She's spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Would do well in a big house or an apartment with regular walks.
