Description
We are a 51 year old Guitarist/vocalist with P.A. and gear, AND a 53 year old Drummer (who doesn't sing). Recently started a brand-new recording and live jam project a month ago. We practice west of CSU campus once or twice a week. Also have a spot in Laporte as a secondary spot to rehearse. Drumkits at both locations.
Looking for a rock-solid BASSIST from our genre (we both grew up on 80s hard rock and metal, 70s classic rock, and guitar-based stuff that features real instruments) that is skilled, experienced, reliable, and easy to deal with.
Our goal here is to eventually have a solid 4-piece band (2 guitars, drums, bass) so another LEAD GUITARIST will be added last. First we need to gel as a 3 piece and evolve from there. Ideally we are seeking musicians between 30 and 55, for sake of musical compatibility.
Although our main goal will be crafting and creating sounds/songs and original material... we have started playing some deep tracks from Zeppelin, Floyd, Sabbath, the Who, Deep Purple and others. We will eliminate covers after we get a good hour or 2 of our own music together. Not looking for overly-commercial players. We certainly aren't in this for the money and we play what we like, with no boundaries, no expectations of playing favorites for the bar crowd. Integrity matters to us.
So- If you're adept/skilled at playing either bass or guitar fluently and have the time necessary... send us a reply with a good local number to call you back, and we will. We don't do endless email chains or links. If we feel its a good fit after we talk, we'll invite you over to audition and go from there. Serious replies only please...
