The Account Manager must be well versed in general cleaning methodologies as well as understand the unique requirements of resort overnight and commercial kitchen cleaning. The individual will be responsible for directly leading, directing, hiring, training, and recruiting employees. The Account Manager will be responsible for day-to-day or evening operations. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, is an effective and caring leader, and will also need to have excellent time management to ensure issues are properly handled and corrected. Responsibilities: · Supervise, coordinate and monitor activities of our Cleaning Team · Ensuring high level of performance is delivered · Recruiting, Hiring, Training, etc. · Responsible to work with Human Resource department to ensure all employee records are up to date · Create and distribute work schedules ensuring adequate workforce is available to complete nightly tasks · Order materials and supplies and ensure proper maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles · Coordinate activities with other departments · Communicate/escalate issues (accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions) to Contract Supervisor. Submit incident report · Evaluation of staff · Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published work rules · Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures · Investigate customer's problems and find solutions. Maintain documented communication with customers via email · Check assigned areas to confirm if work has been done to meet Tesla’s standards. Inform contract supervisor about the status and condition of assigned areas · Responsible for training and instructing employees in proper cleaning and recycling techniques and assignments · Responsible for documentation of inventory of janitorial equipment and tools · Leverage lead custodians for employee work management · Perform special project assignments as required · Submit daily operations reports as required · Position may require travel between islands with overnight stays. · Support sales and any other growth opportunities within Maui or surrounding islands Requirements: · 5 years’ custodial experience, including at least two year of supervisory experience. Overnight resort and kitchen cleaning experience a major plus. · High School diploma required · Must be able to recruit, train, and lead. · Clean background check · Clean driving record · Ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds · Possess ability to effectively interact and communicate both verbally and in written form. · Possess ability to use email, the Internet, and basic computer applications · Floor Care experience a major plus Minimum Education Requirements / Certification Lead Job · High School diploma required.
