Come out and join us and the Hamilton Lauraville Main Street team as we level up The Lot! Hey hey, Baltimore! Spring has sprung and we are ready to get back outside in our beautiful city! For our April event we're teaming up with Hamilton Lauraville Main Street to work on a super important project at what has come to be known as "The Lot." If you're from around the Hamilton Lauraville area, you've probably seen The Lot be utilized in quite a few different ways. What was once just an abandoned gas station has become much more; from the community farmers market and holiday events, to dance parties and yard sales -- The Lot has transformed into a community gathering space for everyone who lives in or may come through Hamilton Lauraville. So, where do we come in? So glad you asked! The team with Hamilton Lauraville Main Street is starting some demo and beautification to take The Lot to the next level for the community, and we will be there to lend a hand. Here are the details for the event!When: Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Where: "The Lot" - 4500 Harford Rd, Baltimore, MD 21214 What: Removing old pavement, mulching some portions of the area for play mounds, strategically moving and placing gravel according to the site plans, and doing some overall cleaning and gardening of the area. Parking: Street parking. Attire: Comfortable work clothes that can get dirty.
