Description

Birding by bike along the Moonville trail. A leisurely 3 hour ride covering up to 8 miles on a flat crushed limestone trail. Join Ornithologist Lynn Holtzman for a birding by bike guided tour along the Moonville trail. Lynn will share his knowledge and passion of birding as he rides with the group for up to 8 miles over 3 hours. Lynn with stop to point out different habitats along the ride, including the various wetlands that provide habitat for Prothonotary Warblers, Blue Herons and Bald Eagles just to name a few. The tour will begin and end at the Waterloo Fire Department parking lot. Local refreshment will be provided for participants. Adaptive bikes are available for participants with limited mobility, requests must be made in advance. Helmets are required for all participants.
