Construction Materials Supply company seeks a Warehouse Associate to embark on a successful career in our New Orleans, LA branch. Ram Tool has a vast product line with 90,000 unique items to sell and over 90% of customer deliveries made within 24 hours. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provides customer service assistance, including pulling and staging orders • Performs bin location maintenance • Performs tasks to ensure safety, organization and cleanliness of the warehouse environment • Assists in conducting Cycle Counting to ensure inventory accuracy • Attends safety training and meetings. Follows rules and regulations • Assists in the compliance of all OSHA/DOT regulations that are applicable, to include inspections, forms, reports, etc. • Performs forklift inspections and completes reports • Maintains a clean and safe warehouse environment • Communicate consistently with management, all branch personnel, and customers • May perform Shipping and Receiving functions, including the following: • Verifying inventory against purchase orders for accuracy • Receiving inventory into the SAP software system • Staging / Shelving inventory • Shipping inventory to customers • Perform other duties as directed by Ram Tool management DETAILS: • Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays) • No CDL required REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma (or equivalent) • Ability to use Ram Tool’s inventory management computer software system, SAP • Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is a plus • Basic general computer skills • Must have a “can do, roll your sleeves up, and get it done” attitude • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask constantly shifting priorities • Excellent communication skills • Standard Drug screen, Driving Record and Background Checks will be performed.
