Living Whole: Trauma-Informed Care + Self-Care

Description

An interactive workshop on how to love our neighbor by seeing and caring for the whole person, including their trauma, wounds, and fear. Trauma is endemic to the human experience. But, do we consider this when doing our work. Whether in the community, at your workplace, your church, the mission field, or at home, we must learn how to identify and address trauma. And not just for others, but in ourselves. This is why we marry trauma-informed care to self-care. Self-love is the key to transformational leadership. Facilitated by Lisa McCraney, LPCC-S, and Felicia Johnson, LPC, of Healing Hearts in Akron, OH. **Workshop is hosted in partnership with Malone University, who is sponsoring social work and/or counseling CEUs upon request for a small fee. Contact Annie St. John ([email protected]) to register and RSVP for CEUs.
