Learn the early herstory/history of New York from a Black perspective starting with Juan Rodriguez (The City's first settler), ending with the erection of the Statute of Liberty and covering the Land of the Blacks in Manhattan, the African Burial Grounds and other key events and places from the past. This is a fascinating 90 minute course that will change and enhance your understanding of one of the most influential cities in the World.
