Immerse yourself in the paranormal with The Haunted Historian team during the first ever investigation permitted at historic Fort Bridger! Fort Bridger, the 180 year old former trading post and army barrack based near the southwestern tip of Wyoming, will officially be permitting the 30+ acres historic site, comprised of 25+ separate buildings, to host its first full-scale paranormal investigation to date. Fort Bridger was once a fur trading outpost established in 1842 in what is now Uinta County, Wyoming, United States. It became a vital resupply point for wagon trains on the Oregon Trail, California Trail, and Mormon Trail. The Army established a military post here in 1858 during the Utah War, until it was finally closed in 1890. A small town, Fort Bridger, Wyoming, remains near the fort and takes its name from it. And as many locals to the area will tell you, the fort has a penchant for the paranormal. Many of the remaining buildings have been hives for sightings of lingering apparitions. The spirits of former soldiers have even been spotted roaming the grounds of the fort. Disembodied voices, the echoes of phantom gunfire, and curdling screams are often experienced here as well. All of this is in addition to the on-site cemetery where guests and staff have encountered supernatural activity unique to its crumbling walls. The night will start with a guided tour of the entire property with your guide, followed by a training session on the use of all of the paranormal equipment available for use during the overnight event. Guests will then be allowed to explore and investigate the facility on their own or alongside The Haunted Historian crew, using equipment they may have chosen to bring and/or the investigative equipment provided by the guide! *Each individual guest will be required to fill out a Waiver of Legal Rights prior to entering the event. This waiver will be provided to guests at the door with a representative of Haunted Ventures, LLC available to explain any and all portions of its boilerplate terms. *All ticket purchasers agree to review the Terms and Conditions section of the Haunted Ventures website (https://www.thehauntedventures.com/terms-conditions) prior to purchasing their ticket(s). *A parent or legal guardian is required to either be in attendance with or sign the waiver on behalf of any guest that will be under the age of 18 by the date of the investigation. *Refunds are available for all ticket purchases so long as they are requested at least one week prior to the scheduled event. * HAUNTED VENTURES encourages guests to bring any investigative equipment they'd like, keeping in mind the prohibited gear disallowed by the below statement. The tour guide(s) will have equipment on hand for guests to use as well, though guests will be required to check out the equipment from the guide(s) by providing their driver's license or something of equal value. *HAUNTED VENTURES strictly PROHIBITS the use of any equipment, practices, and/or material that it deems unsuitable or inappropriate for this event. This includes, but is not limited too, rituals, ouija boards, and provocation.
