Paint your own alpaca masterpiece right on the farm, with instruction from The Purple Palette. Montrose Farms is teaming up with The Purple Palette to offer a unique experience this summer: a “Paint a Paca” class on July 23 from 1-3:30 pm. Rachel Davis, owner of The Purple Palette, will guide the class in sketching and painting an image of one of Montrose Farms’ alpacas on an 11 x 14 canvas – right here on the grounds of the alpaca ranch! Davis, a graduate of the University of Indianapolis, has been painting since 1995. Her company offers painting parties for all occasions. Choose from a selection of images or provide your own favorite photo of an alpaca or your pet when you register. The cost of $50 includes all art supplies, instruction and refreshments. Time will be allowed to meet and interact with the alpacas. Montrose Farms is pleased to bring innovative and original events to the Indianapolis area and specifically designed this painting class for enthusiasts who love alpacas and want to create a unique, personal souvenir.
