Let's toast twelve years of inspiring young women to become community leaders! Athena’s Warehouse Presents, “The Princess & the Prom” a fundraiser celebrating 12 years. Let's toast to twelve years of empowering girls and women! We believe that young women have the power to create their own “happily ever after” when given the proper tools! Hope is the “magical potion” needed to break the cycle of poverty holding our youth back from their full potential so join us for food, drinks, and fun. Our founder, Bee Nguyen, handed the baton to Dia Parker, an Athena's Warehouse program alum. Together with the support of a community-driven board, Dia has carried on the mission of educating and uplifting young women in the Buford Highway area since 2019. Athena's Warehouse alums and our new leadership team will share their stories of success and raise a glass to a bright and bold future!We invite you to celebrate with us that our doors are still open, we survived 2020 (&2021), we've relaunched our 1-on-1 mentor program and we’ll be providing free prom dresses to young women in need this April! Details:The event will feature a selection of craft beers, a wine bar, locally-made food, and music by DJ Lillie Smalls. A ticket includes two drink tickets and food. $35 in advance, $45 at the door Parking: there is a large parking lot but ride-sharing is encouraged if you plan to drink alcohol.
