DEC - Do you know what it stands for? Drug Endangered Children. And there is so much more we can be doing to learn, respond and prevent. Join us for a highly informative and interactive evening with professionals from various sectors supporting drug endangered children right here in our own community. This training will increase awareness about drug endangered children and the risks they face; educate about the appropriate signs and professional responses to identify children in need of support related to exposure to substances; and engage in conversations to enhance a collaborative response to addressing DEC in our local communities. This session will end with an in-depth look into the Children's Advocacy Center in Cascade County, including the resources and tools available for early childhood providers, educators and others who are likely to come in contact with children who may need support related to exposure to drugs.
