Bakersfield Twilight Rotary Club presents Concert in the Garden featuring Wrenwood Sessions at BMoA on Saturday, May 7, 2022 , 12:30-4:00pm This inaugural event benefiting the Rotary Club of Bakersfield Twilight Foundation will feature Bakersfield’s own Wrenwood Sessions, who plays an eclectic mix of traditional Scottish and Irish music. The band was formed in 2010 when a group of friends playing in church discovered their mutual love of Celtic music, the traditional Scottish and Irish music of the Isles. Since then, they have been delighting audiences of all ages with their own style of folk music and the Twilight Rotary Club is thrilled to have them headlining the first Concert in the Garden event. The event will also feature a local food truck, a beer & wine bar, plus locally sourced cupcakes for guests to enjoy. Outside food and beverages will not be permitted. Proceeds from the event will benefit the life-changing projects supported by the Rotary Club of Bakersfield Twilight Foundation including local community efforts for Mt. Vernon Elementary School & Library, Golden Empire Gleaners Food Bank, and the Bakersfield Homeless Center, as well as international efforts such as the Polio Eradication Campaign.
