After a two year hiatus amidst an international pandemic, we are excited to announce the return of our annual 5K Walk/Run. This year’s theme is a “Walk for Hope” as we emerge in post-pandemic world and now witness a humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. We have all experienced great loss because of COVID-19 as our lives and livelihoods were interrupted. This pause, and the devastating toll it has taken, seems to be lasting forever. But, it is in this moment of time when we are reminded that we are all in this together. We all hope and dream for a brighter, safer, and healthier future. Our goal is to raise $50,000; all proceeds will go to provide scholarships to graduating seniors from Kern County high schools and in support of community programs.
