I'm trying to put together a band around a charismatic frontman (or woman) with professional ambitions in the Bruce Springsteen/Tom Petty/Sheryl Crow/Lucinda Williams vein... maybe a little more indie cool than that... or a little more country, if that's where your heart is. I'm a semi-retired 40-year-old with connections in the music industry. I play a bit of everything, know how to produce, and understand the publishing industry (my early career) inside and out. I'm interested in managing and playing in whatever band is formed and I will be completely honest with you about my ambitions and intentions. I'm looking to make this my second career, so I am motivated and will be approaching this as a business, though I'm also wanting to have a whole lot of fun. I am not an investor... I have enough money to live, but not enough to do much else with. If you are on the younger side, super cool, if you are closer to my age, you need to have your shit completely together.
