This is a compliment, and not necessarily a missed connection. You were walking past my friend and I as we ate, and I just thought you were such a beautiful man. You were dressed simply. T-shirt tucked in your pants, with a belt, and simple shoes. The t-shirt said something about firefighter. Your style bought the sailor, navy vibe. You had salt and pepper hair, had a look on your face that was all about business, and a great level of humility in your walk. Many walk with pride and over confidence but you stood out of the many and I just thought it admirable. My friend was not discrete and turned her entire body when I told her how much I admired your appearance. In her sweet innocence, she meant no harm. I was simply admiring you as a man. You are a breath of fresh air.
