FALLSINGTON, PA — The Pennsbury school board on Thursday turned to a former member to fill an open position.
Linda Palsky, who had served on the board from 1999-2011, was named to fill the vacancy created when Region 3 director Christian Schwartz resigned. Her term will run through November 2021.
Directors chose Palsky from a field of applicants who had submitted their names for the position.
During her 12 years on the Pennsbury board, Palsky served as president, vice president and chair of multiple committees. She is a 41-year resident of Lower Makefield Township and has three children who graduated from Pennsbury High School.
"On behalf of the administrative team, we look forward to partnering with Ms. Palsky, as well as the entire board, to successfully accomplish the district's ongoing goals and strategies,," said Pennsbury Superintendent William Gretzula.
