Local businessman and philanthropist, James 'Jim' Holzapfel, will learn just how deep his roots are locally and across the pond to Germany.
Join Carol Miller-Schultz on Friday, April 22, from 6 to 8:00 PM at the Washington County Historical Society (the Miller House Museum). We will explore the heritage of a prominent Washington County Citizen, Jim Holzapfel. Your evening tour will begin in Washington County but quickly travel to Oberdünzebach, Germany, where Jim's Great-Grandfather was born. Come and hear the stories and learn about his family's many contributions to this community.
Washington County Roots is a fundraiser for the "kinship Family Heritage Research Center" located in the lower level of the Miller House Museum.
Tickets for the evening are $50. for members and $65. for non-members. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served. The featured drink of the evening : The JIM & Tonic
