Press release from the Port Jefferson School District: March 23, 2022 Two Port Jefferson School District students have been named as recipients of a Suffolk County Music Educators' Association scholarship for summer music study. Port Jefferson Middle School eighth grader Mari Fukuto and Edna Louise Spear Elementary School fifth grader Sebastian Salzman will each receive a $500 scholarship to further their studies in music during the summer months. "Congratulations to these talented SCMEA scholarship winners," Dr. Michael Caravello, district director of music and fine arts said.
