Description
WESTBOROUGH, MA — Depending on how you feel about snakes, you'll either want to head to or run away from Westborough this weekend.
The nonprofit Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team will be in town to host a presentation about snakes commonly found in New England, plus species from farther away. The presentation will be led by Rick Roth, Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team's founder and executive director.
"Meet some fascinating harmless reptiles you may find while out walking in Westborough as well as some impressive specimens from around the world," the event flier says.
There will be two snake shows, both on Saturday, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 17 Willow St.
The Westborough Community Land Trust is sponsoring the snake show with help from the Westborough Newcomers Club and Westborough Cultural Council.
