YORKVILLE, IL — Senior citizens in the Yorkville area will have several opportunities over the coming weeks to get a free flu vaccine. The Beecher Center in Yorkville, located at 901 Game Farm Rd., is set to host a drive-thru vaccination clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. on Oct. 2, as public health officials encourage residents to get vaccinated for the flu amid the coronavirus pandemic. In Aurora, People 65 and older can stop by the Aurora Township Senior Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday to receive a flu vaccination, which is covered by Medicare Part B and most health insurance plans, according to officials.
