READING, MA — The following letter was submitted by A Street resident Andrea Caranfa. Fellow Reading Residents: I am honored to write this letter supporting Nancy and her run for Select Board. I have known Nancy for over 18 years when she moved into our neighborhood. Nancy is one of the most compassionate, strong, and hard-working women I know. She is true to her convictions and stands up for what she believes in. For as long as I have known Nancy she has had a desire to serve others. This is evident in her commitment to her family and friends, and her volunteer work. She has been a source of great strength and kindness to our family over the years. Despite whatever is going on in her busy life, she is always there to lend a helping hand. Whenever I have needed anything she has always been there to help. I am so very proud of all she has accomplished, and her desire to step up to make Reading better for all of us. She truly cares about this community, and I know she will serve it well.
