The Caribbean Heritage Music Series event is on Saturday, April 23rd from 5pm-10pm On Washington Avenue and Espanola Way East, South Beach.
We are seeking a reliable handymen that can help with the following tasks:
Setting up audio/sound equipment, portable stage, mics, canopy tents.
Has a large moving truck, can move heavy items as well as step and repeat, decor, chairs, tables, other equipment etc. at the event. If you cannot do it alone, please bring assistance, our office will not be able to help with moving and items as we will be occupied with managing the event.
Let me be clear: If you have a large truck and one other person to help, Set up time should take only 2 hours, and breakdown should take 2 hours. So essentially, for the remaining time, you'll basically be paid for waiting around until the event is over.
You may also have the option to get paid to come at 9am, set up, leave then come back promptly at 10:00 pm for breakdown and moving items back to the office.
Have to be quick, efficient and comfortable with lifting and moving heavy equipment. Our event time is rigid, so we need the setup to be organized and on time.
If you have prior experience with sound equipment, or have a large moving truck, you may be hired on the spot! When applying, please send in pics of your moving truck along with dimensions for approval.
We are looking for minimum 2 people and are hiring ASAP. Once we hire you, we'll provide the exact location to meet in the morning of the event.
SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY; We have a small team so we need reliable people. DO NOT apply if you will not be available on Saturday, April 23rd. No exceptions. Must have reliable transportation to our location.
If all goes well, there is potential for more jobs for you as we will be having an event every month until the end of the year.

COMPENSATION: $15.00/hr.
NOTE: You will be paid with a check at the end of the day. Water and lunch will be provided.
