INTRODUCTION   The warehouse associate works out of the HNG Meats warehouse, a shared space located in Flat Rock, NC. Located 30 minutes from Asheville, 20 minutes from our home farm in Fairview, NC and 30 minutes from Greenville, SC. The warehouse is comprised of a multistory walk-in cooler, walk-in freezer, dry storage areas, loading docks and office space. As a warehouse associate you are responsible for making sure the work of our farmers (our meat) is taken care of from receiving at the warehouse to loading the chef’s car. You will work in warehouse cooler and freezer conditions with attention to detail in order to ensure work is accurate and our customers are always happy. The ability to work as part of a team while executing individual tasks is a key to success in this role. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Order packing accuracy - 98% Inventory rotation accuracy - 98% Warehouse upkeep DAILY OVERSIGHT AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Pack orders Organize fresh meat received weekly and value added deliveries Rotate meat through cooler and freezer Assist pick up customers Assist with warehouse cleaning and upkeep Prepare value added shipments Attend weekly staff meetings Miscellaneous Warehouse Manager support and tasks KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a team member with strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain harmonious relationships Excellent customer service skills Good at juggling multiple tasks and prioritizing tasks; ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, are of the highest quality, and enhance the reputation of the HNG Meats brand.
