DULLES, VA — Customs officials put a 26-year-old man back on a plane to Saudi Arabia over the weekend after finding images of child pornography on the traveler's cellphone. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at Washington Dulles International Airport discovered the images while they were conducting a secondary examination of a Saudi national, who had just arrived Saturday on a flight from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The man had traveled to the U.S. on a student visa with the intention of attending flight school. Once the images were found, CBP declined to charge the man. Instead, they determined he was an inadmissible traveler and revoked his visa. He then was sent back to Saudi Arabia on Sunday. Authorities did not identify the man because he had not been criminally charged. "Child exploitation is reprehensible," said Daniel Escobedo, area port director for CBP's Area Port of Washington, D.C., in a release. "Customs and Border Protection officers will continue to exercise our border security authority to identify and deport predators and perverts who peddle or possess child pornography."
